Man Dies in Accident at Hummus Plant

December 19, 2011 – A man died while working at Tribe Mediterranean Foods, a hummus manufacturing plant, last week.  Tribe employee Daniel Callazo, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene.

 Police are still investigating but say it appears that the incident was an industrial accident.  In addition to police, Occupational Safety and Health Administration reported to the scene to determine exactly what caused Mr. Callazo’s death.
